She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter James Evans and Gladys Ryan Evans; her siblings, Violet, Parmlerlee, Fanny, Patricia, Myrna Ray, Edwina, Kay, Walter Jr. and Phillip; and her son Gaylon Haywood (Edith).
She is survived by: her grandson Leon McGrew; her great grandchildren, Leon "Trey" McGrew, Dillon McGrew, Chester Simon and Richard Simon; her great great grandchildren, Adrian, Xavier and Kyomi (Lillian McGrew); her siblings, Marva K. Bagby, John Evans and Dara Hicks; and her great-nephew Fredrick Cooper. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
