He is survived by: his sister Jan Doest (Charles Doest); his nieces and nephews, Desiree Martin, Lacey Doest, Dewayne Martin and Josh Doest (Denise Tucker); his great-nephew Gerald Allen Smith (Mitzi Smith); his daughters, Paige Darcey (Derrick Darcey), Amanda Ferry (William Ferry), Valerie Wood (John Russell) and Crystal Webre (John Jennings); his grandchildren, Shelbe Boudreaux, Alexis Landry, Adrianna Landry, Hayden Landry, Isaiah Darcey, Brooklyn Smith, Baleigh Smith, Dylan Smith, Durand Alvarez, Carliegh Alvarez, Madison Wood, Brayden Wood and Zachary Martin; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt Allen and Oaklynn Daille.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Peevey Funeral Home (12440 Beamer Rd, Houston, TX 77089). A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Forest Park East Cemetery (21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at the Peevey Funeral Home (12440 Beamer Rd, Houston, TX 77089).
