She is survived by: her parents, Martha McLendon Ventry and Edgar G. Ventry; her husband Willie Lee Shelton; her sister Frances Stone; her son Kyle Lyn Shelton; and her sister Peggy Tollerene (Glenn Tollerene). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
