He is survived by: his brother Gil Peterson; his children, Don Jr. Peterson (JoAnn), Jean Stone (Bob) and Shari Peterson; his grandchildren, Shannon Hathaway (Joe), Katie Senor (Jordan), Max Stone and Jeff Stone; his great grandchildren, Molly Kate, Macy Senor, Laney Hathaway and Ella Hathaway; his brother-in-law Bill Jung; and his nephews, Butch Jung, Mike Jung and Sam Jung. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews.
