He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Lester Flurry and Minnie Mae McCartey Flurry; and his sisters, Joyce Flurry Mitchell and Elizabeth Flurry Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Janice Tilley Flurry; his daughter Melissa Clark of Charleston, SC; his grandsons, Andrew David Clark and Kevin Curtis Cladc; his siblings, Nita Flurry Hall, Marcus Flurry (Barbara) and Paul Flurry; and his sister-in-law Kay Tilley Krininger (Keith) of Alabama. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to MD Anderson Cancer Center and Ronald McDonald House.
