She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Kepner and Elsie Kepner; and her former husband Chuck Filley. She is survived by: her husband Mel Richmond; her daughter Kimberly Campbell (Bryan); her grandchildren, Collin, Aidan, Alaina, Evan Filley, Savannah and Sophia Campbell; her brother Craig Kepner (Betty); her nephews, Todd and Scott (Julie); and her stepchildren, Taryn (Jack) and Ty (Dorinda).
Carolyn was a longtime supporter of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation and enjoyed the local arts at the Bayou Theater at the University of Houston Clear Lake. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to these organizations.
