She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Cavazos and Florance Cavazos-Schurwon; her husbands, Allen Hopkins and Don Guidry; and her sister Nancy Ruhakk.
She is survived by: her brother Paul Cavazos (Sheri); and her children, Terri Gerondale, Kelly Kleinecke (Chip) and Chris Hopkins (Debbie). She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
