He was predeceased by: his daughter Sonja Dyson; his parent Annie Taylor; and his brother Wilmer Dyson, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Edna Jackson (Dyson); his sister Adelle Taylor of Benton Harbor, Michigan.; his daughters, Regina Dyson of Flower Mound and La'Wanda Dyson Lendsey of Houston, Texas.; his son-in-law Bruce Lendsey; and his grandchildren, Jalen, Deven, Jerron and Edina Lendsey. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.
