He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Zatopek and June Zatopek (Walker); his brother Mark Zatopek; his father-in-law Jimmy Bruce; and his sister-in-law Barbara Bruce.

He is survived by: his wife Cindy Zatopek of Weatherford; his siblings, John Michael Zatopek (Elizabeth) of Arlington, Patrick Zatopek of Abbott, Susan McGehee (Charles) of Mosheim, Brenda Rosenberg (Murray) of The Woodlands and Gail Guinn (Quintin) of Hewitt; his mother-in-law Sue Bruce; and his brother-in-law Jim Bruce. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family requests memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the charity of your choice.
