He was predeceased by: his parents, Orba Otho Smith and Sadie Opal Smith (Dodd); his wife Helen Smith (Musser); his son Everett Paul Smith; his sons-in-law, Jason Edward Winsett and Jeff Wise; and his brothers, Don L. Smith and Kelly Smith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Delene Winsett of Weatherford and Susan Noelle Wise of Fort Worth, Texas.; his grandchildren, Tyler Rose Smith, Johnathin Wolfe (Katy West), Sierra Wolfe, Thomas Carter Smith and Jaxon Wise; his great grandchildren, Mason Shafer, Emberly Shafer, Alex West and Everleigh West; his brothers, Mike Smith of Newport News and Max Smith of Eugene, Oregon.; and his sisters-in-law, Jan Smith of Tucumcari and Patty Smith of Tucumcari.
