She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Russell Colgin of Weatherford and Linnie Arzella Buckner of Weatherford; her husband Charles Beard; her brothers, Russell and George Colgin; her daughter Laurie Elizabeth Beard; and her close friends, Em Strickland and Betty George.
She is survived by: her son Chuck Beard (Melinda); and her granddaughters, Lauren and Katherine Beard. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Sally lived with Alzheimer's the last eleven years of her life.
