She was predeceased by: her parents, Barney Gibbs and Honor Gaskill Reynolds; her siblings, Louis Reynolds and Gladys Richardson; and her nephew Glen Richardson.

She is survived by: her son Jimmy D. Nelson (Nancy); her friend Jo Ann Burt; and her nephew Mickey Richardson. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
