She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Jimmy Downs; her parents, Minnie Hamby, and Frank Hamby, Sr.; her siblings, Frank Hamby, Jr., Charles Hamby, Edie Burns, Dorothy Green and Charlotte Mayeux; her children, Rene'e Downs, Suzanne Carter, David Downs and Leslie Downs (Sheryl); her grandchildren, Tamara Weary (Shawn), Mark Johnson (Rebecca), Michael Johnson (Sarah), Noah Downs and Isabella Roszelle (Blake); her great grandchildren, Carley Pringle (Jason), Lillie Johnson, Dylan and Addison; her great great grandchildren, Raegan, Jacob, Adalynn and Kase; and her cousin Norma Camel.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the North Side Baptist Church (910 N Main St, Weatherford, TX 76086).
