He was predeceased by: his mother Phyllis Ann Stuckey Walters; his former wife Patricia "Tish" Schneider; and his brother Scott. He is survived by: his father Byron R. "Barney" Walters of Weatherford; his wife Pamela of Weatherford; his siblings, Terry Walters (Cheryl) of Pana, Illinois, Cinda Walters Walker of Weatherford and Craig Walters (Lori) of Wichita, Kansas.; his son Todd Walters (Tanya) of Merkel; and his stepchildren, Kristen McCreight of Granbury, Melissa Madey of Weatherford, Thomas Brittain of Fort Worth and Blake Brittain of Jacksboro. He is also survived by his family, especially his grandchildren, and more recently, his great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family would encourage donating in his memory to American Cancer Society or Shriner's Hospitals.
