It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Blanch e Merritt of Weatherford, Texas, who passed away on January 21, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Arp and Earlie Arp; and her close friend William E. Merritt, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Warren Merritt (Lenore), Clayton Merritt, Lorrie Merritt, Melissa Merritt and William "Bill" Merritt, Jr. (Monica). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and a host of other extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the White's Funeral Home (130 Houston Ave, Weatherford, TX 76086). A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the East Greenwood Cemetery (500 E Front St, Weatherford, TX 76086).
