He was predeceased by: his parents, James Jones and Joyce Jones (Abbott); his in-laws, Buck and Evelyn Thomas; his sister Jane Van Deaver; his brothers-in-law, Butch Williams and Jim Souders; his aunt Alverene; and his nieces, Beverley and Ashley.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Jones (Thomas) of Weatherford, Texas; his sons, Cody (Lexi) and Daniel (Shannon); his grandchildren, Chris, Jesse, Shyla, Gabe, Cade and Dallie; his sisters, Shelley Souders and Leanne Turner (Bill); his brothers-in-law, Albert and Tegun (Dona); his aunts, Patsy and Nancy (Vernon); and his nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Julie (Eric), Jackie (James), Shelby, Matt (Julie), Josh (Laurie), Angela and Tabitha (Collin).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel (913 N Elm St, Weatherford, TX 76086). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar Holders Chapel Methodist Church (501 Holders Chapel Rd, Weatherford, TX 76088). A burial was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Holders Chapel Cemetery.
