He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Watson of Weatherford, Texas; his children, Jim Watson (Donna), Mike Watson (Marni), Jeff Watson (Jennifer) and Denise Bennett (Jeff); his grandchildren, Levi, Cory, Ryan, Colton, Zach, Key, Gabby, Kaleb and Jacob; and his great grandchildren, L. J., Parker, Gunnar, Tyler and Aubrey.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel (913 N Elm St, Weatherford, TX 76086). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the East Greenwood Cemetery (500 E Front St, Weatherford, TX 76086).

“Jimmy was so much fun. We have lots of good memories of sitting in the football stands watching our boys play from the time they were little guys until they graduated high school. We lost touch over the last few years but occasionally ran into him and Johnnie in Oklahoma. Our sincere condolences to the family. Susan and Bob Gazzola”
