He is survived by: his children, Howard Craig Carter (Carolyn) of Weatherford, Texas and Candiss Carter of Harlingen, Texas; and his grandchildren, Cooper Leanne Carter, Mackenzie Lynn Carter, Carter Wick and Cade Wick.
