As Georgie Rea departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Georgie Rea. Though Georgie Rea may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sullivan Mauney and Ina Mauney; her husband Lewis Franklin Hutson; and her granddaughter Brandi Nash. She is survived by: her children, Lewis Hutson (Shirli), Cheryl Beck (Larry), Karen Renfro (Steve) and Terry Hutson. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
A graveside service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Calendar Memory Gardens (5600 Mineral Wells Hwy, Weatherford, TX 76088).
