She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Isaac and Bina Monrovia Robinette (Stansberry); her husbands, Clyde Earl Lovelace, Albert Sophier and Douglas Anthony Broussard; her son James Eddie Lovelace; her stepdaughters, Carolyn Rabinowitz and Estelle Major; her grandchildren, David Edward Major and Laura Lynn Rabinowitz; and her sisters, Opal Makin, Faye Tipton and Doris Derryberry.
She is survived by: her children, Loretta Heavyside (John), Gaynell Garner (Tom), Wesley Lovelace, Hugh Lovelace (Kristi), Connie Allen and Allen Sophier (Bethany); and her brother James Earl Robinette (Thelma). She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family members and friends.
