He was predeceased by: his parents, Ercel Evans and Elizabeth Evans (McClure); and his brother Larry Joe Evans. He is survived by: his wife Joan Evans; his son Jeff Evans (Brenda); his grandson Zach Evans (Rocio); and his sisters, Charlotte Davidson, Layton Evans, Elizabeth Freeze, Emily Cockerham, Sidney Evans and Gloria Myers.
