He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Jo Louise (Hopson) and Harvey Madison Mooney; and his siblings, Laura Brewer, Mary Hubbard, Nell Hess, Virginia Henry (Gin), H. M. Mooney (Tim), Mart Mooney and Michael Mooney.
He is survived by: his former wife Barbara Mooney of The Woodlands; his daughters, Beverly Harmon (Mike) of Granbury, Tina Waters of Fort Worth, Kerry Kee (Dorman) of Granbury, Lisa Walker (Troy) of The Woodlands and Michelle Cardenas (Juan) of The Woodlands; his former wife Patt Bartlett of Brenham; his stepchildren, Ashley Moore Haile (Bradley) of Hico and Aaron Moore (Miriam) of Georgetown; his sisters, Dana Elliot Williams of Runaway Bay and Molly Crawshaw (Glen); and his siblings-in-law, Linda Freeman Mooney of Grandview, Meridith Mooney Rhine (Moore) of Decatur and Larry Henry of Durant, Oklahoma. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in his memory to the Texas Pythian Home.
