With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas T Sims of Weatherford, Texas, born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on April 2, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thale Heebner and Pauline Sims (Bush). He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his daughters, Shannon Daugherty (Rhett) and Robin Carter (Casey); his stepchildren, Brian Cone (Jamie) and Cherise Cone; his grandchildren, Devan, Nolan, Brady, Abbey, Grace, Faith, Hudson, Savannah, Isaiah, Noah, Jase, Jude and Malikah; and his great grandchild Zaiah. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
