She was predeceased by: her parents, James M. Young and Viola G. Young; her husband Manuel; her son James; and her siblings, Peggy and Jim Young (Emily).

She is survived by: her children, David, Karen and Gretchen. She is also survived by five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.

Memorials may be made to Brock United Methodist Church.
