She was predeceased by: her parents, Colene Graham'Mac'McCarty and Alpha Ellen Edgar; her brothers, David Wayne McCarty and Elvis C. McCarty; and her son John Michael Harris.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Harris; her children, Sherry Whitehurst (Tom), Greg Harris (Lesa) and Scott Harris (Valerie); and her daughter-in-law Lyn Harris. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Old School Primitive Baptist Church (1075 N Little School Rd, Kennedale, TX 76017). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
