She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Shahan and Helen Davlin Shahan; her brothers, Anthony and Stephen Shahan; and her husband Farris R. Smith, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Lynn Thompson (Charlie) of Willow Park; her grandchildren, Dakota Thompson of Weatherford and Ashley Shields-Tillery of Fort Worth; her great grandchildren, Joby Shields, Dylan Tillery and Raeleigh Groves; and her close friend Wanda Edwards.
In lieu of usual remembrances, the family suggests memorials in Dianna's memory to the American Kidney Foundation and Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
