She was predeceased by: her parents, Murry Messimer and Mary Messimer (Morrison). She is survived by: her son Chad; her daughter-in-law Theresa Messimer of Burkburnett, Texas; her siblings, Sheila Duncan, Malcom Messimer (Debbie) and James Messimer; her great-niece Cybill Moore; and also Atlas Moore. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel (913 N Elm St, Weatherford, TX 76086). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the East Greenwood Cemetery (500 E Front St, Weatherford, TX 76086).
