He is survived by: his wife Nancy Shumaker (Rankin) of Weatherford, Texas; his brother Robbie Shumaker (Cindy); his brothers-in-law, Dr. Joe Rankin and John Rankin (Angela); his nieces and nephews, Shannan Dunn, Rachel Rankin, Dinah Elizabeth Rankin, Monte Dunn (Anna) and Travis Rankin (Mia); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Gabrielle Dunn, Thia Rankin, Devin, Max and Jacob Dunn; and his mother-in-law Betty Rankin.
