He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Van Stroud and Barbara Feagin Stroud of Weatherford. He is survived by: his spouse Mendee Welker; his children, Tammy Garner (Ty), Todd Stroud (Bridget) and Chase Stroud (Lauren); his grandchildren, Gage, Aubrey Garner, Knox, Crew, Dakota Stroud and Cannon Stroud; and his brother Van Stroud. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

His family would like to continue his legacy by asking, in lieu of flowers, for donations in his memory to be sent to the American Embryo Transfer Association, Research Committee.
