She was predeceased by: her parents, Clois Helms and Alline Lee Helms; her husband James Leon Burgess; and her brother Leon Helms. She is survived by: her children, Ronny Burgess (Veta) of Waco and Angie Martin (Kirk) of Weatherford; her grandchildren, Julie Elmore, Melissa Weisser, Chance Martin, Hattie Burgess, Dustin Burgess and Courtney Banks; and her brothers, Butch Helms of Cleburne, Jimmy Helms (Vicki) of Cleburne and Bobby Helms of Cleburne. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
