He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Bessie McKeown; his parents, Elijah Long and Maudie Long; his siblings, R. V., Leonard, Joy Lytle, Odell and Noel; his children, Robert Long and Joy Gunter; his son-in-law Ron Gunter; his granddaughter Melody Procter (Doug Procter); his great grandchild Adelyn Joy Procter; and his granddaughter Katie Gunter (Matt Scifres).
