He was predeceased by: his father Billy McCoy; and his grandparents, W. B., Edna McCoy, J. M. and Violet McCoy.

He is survived by: his mother Bonnie McCoy of Burnet; his wife Melissa of Weatherford; his sister Amy Gonzalez (Mario); and his niece Abby Hope of McAllen.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the First Methodist Church of Weatherford (301 S Main St, Weatherford, TX 76086). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at the East Greenwood Cemetery (500 E Front St, Weatherford, TX 76086).
