He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolf Sasin and Francis Sasin (Kresta); and his siblings, George Sasin, Bill Sasin and Georgia Chandler.
He is survived by: his wife Suzie Merkley-Sasin; his daughters, Lori Hobbs and Jamie Maloney; his stepson Matthew Merkley; his grandchildren, Lindsay Hobbs-Willis and David Hobbs; and his stepgrandchildren, Keilee Merkley and Crosby Merkley. He is also survived by his family, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Parkinson's Foundation, Van Andel Institute or The Michael J. Fox Foundation to further research for a cure.
