He was predeceased by: his parents, William Grady Ford and Imarie Ford (Smith); his wife Reta Idell Ford; his great grandchild Kaylee Kromer; his siblings, Bobby Ford and Nelda Rie McBride; and his brother-in-law Larry McBride.
He is survived by: his children, Jed Ford (Jerri), Cylinda Heger (Dan), Darin Ford and Jeff Ford (Mitzi); his grandchildren, Terri Ford, Lauren Barnes (Ford), Harrison Heger, Hannah Garner (Heger), Nolan Ford, Jace Ford, Jenna Ford, Jared Ford and Jancey Ford; and his great grandchildren, Harlow, Hutton, Hazel, Landry, Camryn, Brynn, Winslow and Wells. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the White's Funeral Home (130 Houston Ave, Weatherford, TX 76086). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Weatherford (221 W Church St, Weatherford, TX 76086). A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at the East Greenwood Cemetery (500 E Front St, Weatherford, TX 76086).
