We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2025, at the age of 80, Arlena Watkins (Weatherford, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Arlena is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Arlena's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Michael Casey (Julie), Guy Birdwell, Jr. and Avril Birdwell; her children, Darla Birdwell (Guy, Sr.) and Tommy Reynolds; her brother George Watkins; her daughter Rhonda; her brothers, Hoyt Watkins and Jerry Watkins; and her friend Cynthia Hull Alamia.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel (913 N Elm St, Weatherford, TX 76086). A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Annetta Cemetery (2667 W Farm to Market 5, Annetta, TX 76008).
