She was predeceased by: her husband Roche Lee Hooks; her son David Lee Hooks; her grandson David Lee Hooks, Jr.; her son Billy Gene Hooks; her parents, Julia Irene Mullinex and Henry Lee Terrell Sr.; and her siblings, Henry Lee Terrell Jr., Thelma Mae Hefner, Mary Jane Hefner and Hester Ann Bray.
She is survived by: her sisters, Maureen Elizabeth Foy, Martha Jean Luke, Ruthie Ellen Wheat and Stella Mae Swingle; her daughter Neva Tavoada; her grandson Jason Hewitt (Vicki); and her great grandchildren, Kalliey, Miles, Lily, Hunter, Amelie, Khrysha, Tequila, Samuel, Misty and April. She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.
