It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tommy Joe Grissom of Waxahachie, Texas, born in Decatur, Texas, who passed away on April 4, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Grissom and Joanne Grissom; and his son Charles "Chuck" Grissom. He is survived by: his wife Deborah; his children, Andie Coffin, Wendy Shamel (Rob), Kimberly Goff, Tracey Marquardt (Kirk) and Russell Ward (Liz); his grandchildren, Zack, Missie (Alex), Lex, Brenna, Clayton, Sydney (Jody), Micah (Martha), Noah, Seth (Rebekah), Bryce, Colton, Chae and Jade; his great grandchildren, Daisy, Ian, Emberlynn and Benson; and his siblings, Jim Grissom, Suzy Grissom and Shelley Grissom.
The family thanks you for your love and support and asks for donations to be made to the Parkinson's Foundation, Alzheimer's Association, or Disabled American Veterans in lieu of flowers.
