He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Thompson Foy and Iris Arlene Padgett. He is survived by: his wife Dorothea Sue; his children, Thompson Ray, Jr. (Kimberly) of Cranfill's Gap, David Paul (Karen) of Waxahachie, Texas and Deanna Sue; and his sister Donna Lynn Foy-McKinney (Charles) of Verona. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, one great granddaughter, one expected great grandchild.
