He is survived by: his wife Cathy Villareal; his son TJ Villareal (Shianne); his grandchildren, Zackary, Makayla, Hayiden and Teaghan; his siblings, Bertha Garcia (Juan), Jody Villareal and James Villareal (Laura); his nieces and nephews, B. J., Johnny, Matthew, Jody, Joe, Bill, Luke, Jake, Bennie, Justin, Taylor, Mia, Kristina, Julio, Jr., Michael, Carmen and Maria; and his mother-in-law Pauline Quinteros.
