She is survived by: her children, Stephanie (Edward Roach, Sr.), Venus Pertuset, Lisa (James Cook, Jr.) and Joe Jr. (Denise Franklin); and her grandchildren, Jocelyn Roach, Monica Bajek, Clint Leatherwood, Kristina, Jerad Pertuset, Thomas Cook, Kellee, Amber Franklin, Lindsey, Joe Franklin, III, Camrie, Chris Franklin and Jason Franklin.
Throughout her life she would give the "Gift of Life" by donating her rare blood type, B/Rh Negative, at Wadley Blood Bank now known as Carter Bloodcare.
