She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Sally Martinez; her husband Sam Martinez; and her children, Inna Jean Aguilar (Scott Magee), Samuel Jeffrey Martinez and Sara Louise Garay (Abram Adrian). She was also cherished by 15 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 5 brothers; and 3 sisters.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the ASPCA or local animal shelter in her name, as Sally was an avid lover of animals – many of whom she gave a home to over the years.
