He was predeceased by: his son Kyle Burlen Bowler; and his siblings, Audrey (Bob Flynn), Betty (Raymond Cromer), Beverly Zinner and Mason Bowler.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Riley Bowler; his daughters, Colleen Goodloe (Bruce Stroope) and Keira Maynard (Kali Warren) of Buffalo; his granddaughters, Kelsey Goodloe of San Antonio, Morgan Maynard and Sydney Maynard of Buffalo, Texas.; and his brother-in-law Carl Zinner (Dawn Davis) of Florida. He is also survived by mother of his children, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to the Elevator Fund at First United Methodist Church in Waxahachie, or to the Ellis County Camp of The Gideons International.
