He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cynthia McDowra and Jerald McDowra; his former wife Kathy Ann Kohs; his wife Denise Jan Chovanetz; his children, Wesley Garcia (Leah), Haley Hayle (Ben) and Lindsey McDowra (Jordan); his stepsons, Tanner West and Chad West; his grandchildren, Ashton Wright, Gracie Garcia, Brady Hayle and Cody Hayle; his stepgrandchildren, Peyton, Bryn and Madyx; and his siblings, Steve McDowra, Kevin McDowra (Cindy), Pam Poovey (Erik) and Michelle Simpson (Walter). He was also cherished by numerous aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
