She was predeceased by: her father John Henry VanWart; her husband David Richard Duke; her brother John Anson VanWart; and her mother Betty VanWart (Lane). She is survived by: her children, Lauren Clark (Matthew), Lanie Duke, Thomas Duke, Brian Duke and Anna Duke; her siblings, Thomas VanWart (Barbara), Lengel Anderson (David), Patti VanWart, Virginia (Lester), Taylor and Ruth Greenlee (Melvin); and her in-laws, Richard Duke, Pat Sachse, Nancy Eberlen (Rich) and Susan Reid (Michael). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and their spouses.
A memorial service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Waxahachie Bible Church (621 Grand Ave N, Waxahachie, TX 75165). A burial was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at the Waxahachie City Cemetery (300 S Hawkins St, Waxahachie, TX 75165).
