She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Arnold and Louise Arnold; and her sister Martha Anne. She is survived by: her husband Tommy E. Wardell; her children, Tom Wardell (Toni), Tim Wardell (Kayla) and Tammy Wardell; her sister-in-law Charlotte Jensen (Gary); her daughter-in-law Melissa Wardell; her grandchildren, Tara Carroll (Eric), Tyler Wardell (Angela), Tori Wardell, Trevor Wardell and Katherine Wardell; and her pet Sally. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, several dear friends.
While flowers are welcome, the family also asks that contributions be made in Mary Lou Wardell's memory to the Alzheimer's Association or by supporting your local animal shelter through volunteering, fostering, or donations.
