She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Hartsfield and James Hartsfield; her siblings, Vera Mae and James Jr.; her husband Eugene Walter Silas; and her children, David Eugene Silas and Karen Silas Cantrell.

She is survived by: her grandsons, David Lance Silas (Callie) of Midlothian and Zachary Cole Cantrell (Stacy) of Kaufman, Texas; and her great grandchildren, Addison, Piper, Wyatt Silas and Abigail Cantrell.
