It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Nan Burleson in Waxahachie, Texas, who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Margaret Pittman Epton; her husband Thomas Edward Burleson, Jr.; her daughter Lori Burleson Johnson; her son-in-law Lee; and her parent Rev. T. Hollis Epton.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Burleson (Julia), Tim Burleson (Tami) of Waxahachie and Ame Burleson Solomon (John) of Los Angeles, California.; her sister Jan Epton Seale (John Brown) of McAllen; her sister-in-law Ann Bond of Dallas; her great grandchildren, Cameron Cole, Ava, Lily Brown, Annabelle and Ruby Johnson; and also, April (Jeremy), Annie (Eric), Kyla, Sutton Burleson, Sarah Solomon, Katherine Johnson-Roberts (Matt) and Brian Johnson (Vicky). She is also survived by five nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the First Baptist Church (450 US-287 BYP, Waxahachie, TX 75165). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
