He was predeceased by: his parents, Guadalupe Valdez, and Manuel Valdez, Sr.; and his siblings, Susan Antonia, Horalia, Gilbert Valdez and Emilio Valdez.
He is survived by: his wife Amelia Valdez; his children, Sergio Valdez (Tracy), Lisa Valdez (Ino) and Manuel Valdez (Casey); his nephew David Valdez (Melinda); his grandchildren, Alexander Valdez, Hunter Valdez, Max Valdez, Joel Chavez, Jacob Valdez, Jaciel Chavez and Colt Valdez; his great grandchild Arthur Manuel Valdez; his siblings, Ernesto Valdez, Frances Valdez and Nina Gonzales; and also David. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
