She was predeceased by: her mother Margarita Ledesma Mata; and her brother Guadalupe "Pete" Mata. She is survived by: her husband Mike Pritchett; her daughter Brenda Nicole Gonzales (Mike Pritchett); and her siblings, Rogelio Mata Jr., Augusto Mata, Margarita Serrato, Juanita Garcia and Patricia Mendoza. She is also survived by 6 nieces, 12 nephews, 3 great nieces as well as 7 great nephews.

She was member of Calvary Baptist Church in Emory, Texas and passionately believed in giving and regularly donated to St. Jude Cancer Center.
