Lazaro Abalos Obituary

Lazaro Riojas Abalos born May 5, 1967 passed away on August 16, 2021 in ICU at Methodist hospital in Mansfield. He suffered with complications from COVID 19 virus. Lazaro was born in Big Lake, TX then raised in Hereford, TX. He graduated from Hereford High School in 1985. He served in the United States Navy for four years. Lazaro was happily employed by UVL for the past 12 years.

He enjoyed singing, playing guitar, and performing gigs with his band, Thrown Together. He also loved going to the lake, traveling on his Harley, and spending time with family. Lazaro was a kindhearted person who was loved by not only his family but by many friends who loved his unique personality. Lazaro is survived by his dad, Frank Abalos (Frances) and his mom, Oralia Riojas Perez (Joe), the mothers of his children, Michelle Cassady and Lisa Williams, his children, Hunnar, Connar, Hardy, and Wisper, his siblings, Lori Pena (Luis), Dianna Carrasco (Jimmy), Viola Abalos (Rita), and Frank Abalos.

Lovingly remembered by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Lazaro will join Mike, Chris, and family in heaven. Pallbearers Frank Abalos, Roberrt Abalos, Buzzy Abalos, Richard Abalos, David Parsons, Louis Limas, Honorary Pallbearer Charlie Garza. Funeral services will be held at Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie, TX on Wednesday, August 25th, 2021 service will be at 12:00pm with a viewing from 10am to 12pm.

Graveside services to commence immediately after the funeral at Sardis Cemetery. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to all of those who have supported us during this difficult time.
